A new guide for carers in Middlesbrough has been produced giving advice for those who who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who (due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction) cannot cope without their support.
It has been created by the Middlesbrough Carers Partnership in response to other local carers’ experiences of finding themselves in a caring role and not knowing where to start.
The guide is to helps carers understand the support available and how to access it. All member organisations in the Middlesbrough Carers Partnership work to make life better for local carers. The guide contains a useful contacts section, alternatively, visit Middlesbrough Matters which is a centralised source for care & community services.
