Calling all VCOs working with children and families

Calling all VCOs working with children and families - chance to showcase your services!

Middlesbrough Council have organised a day of celebration at the newly renovated Town Hall to showcase all of the services available to families in the town, to celebrate the wide variety of cultures that make Middlesbrough one of the most diverse towns in the country and to give the public an opportunity to experience the changes made at the Town Hall.

The #FeelGoodBoro event will see the Town Hall opened to young people, their families and all of Middlesbrough for a day of workshops, performances and an opportunity for the young people of this town to firmly have their voices heard on how the Town Hall is run.

The event will be held at the Middlesbrough Town Hall on the 14th of July, a Saturday, between 12 noon and 4pm. The event will be free for all to enter.

To this end, Middlesbrough Council is looking for services to hold workshops on the day around issues that affect Middlesbrough’s young people and/or information stalls to promote all of the available services Middlesbrough can offer.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to engage with hundreds of young people and families as well as networking with other services.

They are also hoping services will be able to provide them with any appropriate leaflets or flyers on their service that can be included into goodie bags for the young people on the day.

If you would like to learn more about the event or book a table/workshop on the day, please contact any of the following Middlesbrough Council staff on the details below.

There are a limited number of tables, so please get in touch early to secure your slot.
