Find a Funder is a simple and easy to use funding search website provided by Middlesbrough Council in partnership with MVDA. Workshop sessions demonstrate how the Find a Funder website works and how the get the best out of it. Sharon Barker from Middlesbrough Council and John Atkinson from MVDA will run one or two live searches using ideas the groups represented in the room and their current search for funds. In the second part of the session, Sharon and John will provide advice on how to make more successful funding applications, and how to avoid common mistakes.

This 2.5 hour awareness session offers a focussed introduction to the realities of sexual harm, including prevalence, offence types and the range of perpetrators.
Participants will explore why engaging with this cohort is vital to preventing and reducing future victims.
The session also outlines how individuals convicted of sexual offences are monitored and managed, the impact on their families, and the interventions and programmes available for perpetrators.
