Advanced Bid Writing Course
8 June 2026 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
This session is an opportunity to think about taking a more strategic approach to fundraising. The session will explore the use of well-thought through funding plans and the use of multiple ways to generate funds and income to enable a smoother income. This training session is aimed at people who have had experience of producing funding applications.
Role of the Trustee Part 1
10 June 2026 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
This is part one of two sessions exploring the role of the trustee (or member of a committee). Ruth Barnes and John Atkinson present this two hour training session in an informal manner that invites attendees to ask questions to help gain a sound understanding of this important foundational role within the Voluntary and Community Sector.

This is the second part of our training for trustees and others who are responsible for running Voluntary Sector Organisations. This is a two hour session that will build on the previous (part one) training. Ruth Barnes and John Atkinson have many years' experience setting up and running charities and associations; they will help participants to understand the role and help them to run successful charitable organisations.
