This training session provides a short overview of the main roles and responsibilities of a charity trustee. The session is equally relevant for management committee members and the directors of CICs. It is a 2-hour session to help you understand the tasks and behaviours that help create and build successful organisations in the Voluntary and Community Sector.
The session will be delivered by Ruth Barnes and John Atkinson, who together have several decade's experience contributing as trustees, directors and management committee members in the Tees Valley. There will be lots of time for questions and answers.
This session is for anyone who is interested in becoming a trustee or joining a board or management committee, or anyone who wants to better understand a current role. There is greater detail in our Trustee Essentials course.
