The Grants Officer from Greggs Foundation will available to speak with Voluntary and Community Organisations who are interested in applying to the Foundation for funding. This will be an opportunity to present your idea at an early stage to understand whether it is likely to be supported. The two current funding streams are:
Local Community Projects Fund
Offering a helping hand to community organisations.
The Local Community Projects Fund makes grants of up to £2,000 to help organisations based in local communities to deliver activities that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to. Organisations are able to apply once per calendar year.
North East Core Funding
Helping charities in the North East of England to thrive.
The North East Core Funding grants programme makes grants to charitable organisations based in the North East of England who make a difference to people in need. Organisations are able to apply every 12 months.
North East Core Funding makes grants of up to £45,000 to support charitable organisations in the North East of England. The programme aims to make a lasting difference to organisations in need by making grants that aim to increase the capacity of the organisation to provide quality services. Around £600,000 per year is donated to charities in the North East through this programme.
There are only 6 half-hour slots available for charities to meet the Greggs Foundation grants officer, Justine Massingham. Please read the guidance and only book a place if you are confident your organisation and the project you want to run fits the Foundation's criteria. Read about the criteria for each of the funds here.
